According to the Law, a report of a corruption offense or an offense related to corruption may be made anonymously (Article 53 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption").
Requirements for an anonymous report:
- contains signs of violation of anti-corruption legislation
- information must relate to a specific person
- must contain factual data that can be verified
An anonymous message cannot be considered a citizen's appeal in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Citizens' Appeals", and therefore its provision does not require the mandatory preparation of a response to the applicant.
The information you provide will be used as a source for making a decision on the need for an inspection or other response in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption".
On approval of the Regulation on the introduction in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, establishments, and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, mechanisms to encourage whistleblowers and the formation of a culture of reporting possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses, other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption"
In accordance with paragraph 1 of part four of Article 531 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption", paragraph 9 of the Regulation on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 878 of 28 October 2015, in order to introduce mechanisms to encourage and create a culture of reporting possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses, other violations of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption"
I ORDER:
2. The Corruption Prevention Department (A. Fodchuk) shall ensure the submission of this Order for state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the prescribed manner.
3. The Department of Communication (Shevchenko A.) shall ensure the publication of this Order on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
4. This order shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
