Save lives safely!

All healthcare workers are responsible for preventing the transmission of infectious diseases associated with the provision of healthcare. Therefore, adherence to safe injection practices is part of the protection of patients and healthcare workers.

A safe injection is an injection that does not cause harm to the patient, does not expose the healthcare worker to any avoidable risks, and does not result in the generation of hazardous waste.

A training session on injection safety has been launched at the institution. Head nurse Alla Zinenko, with the support of the VIC, reminds nurses and paramedics of the basic safety steps, while nurses of the polyclinic's medical manipulation room Marina Voyedilo and Lyudmila Galkina demonstrate the practical skills of each stage, the technique of injection, and the prevention of possible risks.
